Over the weekend, the PopStyle Manila team and most of its Sub-Distributors gathered for the first summit covering a thorough business review and some practical trainings for their respective operations. Day 1 kicked off with the 20 Ways How Wealthy People Think Differently session and a Visioning workshop, both facilitated by Mr. William Bantigue, a world-class entrepreneurship coach and a PopStyle Manila partner. This insightful morning session wrapped up with a couple of participants sharing their personal vision for their PopStyle business. In the afternoon, the PopStyle team presented a business review on the past six months of operations as a discussion on issues and opportunities immediately followed. The day closed with the spotlight focused on our top performing Sub-Ds who presented their business achievements and best practices. Day 2 was all about the creative side of the business. The first speaker, Lui Saporsantos-Bantigue, trained in the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and a former Store Manager of Forever21 Manila, gave the participants an insider perspective of the | fashion business and coached them on trend spotting, style influences, and retail operations. This definitely revived the Sub-Ds' fashion instincts! PopStyle then presented updates on its online platforms which included a walk through of the online brochure and its webstore (exclusive to accredited partners). They proceeded to train the participants in building and enhancing their online presence as means to sustain and expand their customer network. The team looks forward to seeing the Sub-Ds become more active in social media. New business development programs were also introduced during the sessions following lunch break though the highlight would be the awarding of the individuals who made breakthrough performances and won their respective Summer Sub-D Surprise Promo categories (ran from April 15 to June 15, 2014). The next promo will be announced in July and these Sub-Ds are all fired up for the challenge! The PopStyle team is grateful for the hard work its partners turned out in the past months and hope that the insights they have gathered in those two short days help drive their business to the next level! |
